Ubisoft breaks off Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six into a new Tencent-backed unit – Polygon.com

Ubisoft is creating a new subsidiary to house several of their leading games, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six. Tencent, a Chinese tech giant, has dedicated $1.3 billion towards the restructuring and will be receiving a 25% stake in the subsidiary.
