BlizzCon schedule hints at big news – Polygon

Blizzard released the schedule for this year’s online-only BlizzCon. While specifics are lacking, both Diablo and World of Warcraft seem to hold focus this year. The online convention runs from Feb 19th -21st. WoW is not likely to receive a new expansion given the recent launch of Shadowlands. Hopefully, we will hear some exciting news about Diablo 4, updates on Diablo Immortal’s progress, or the remaking of Diablo 2. 

 

World of Warcraft Mythic upgrades – Polygon

Update 9.0.5 for World of Warcraft should be launching around March time-frame. This patch focuses on balancing the existing systems in play. With the update, players can use their Valor point to upgrade gear dropped from keystone dungeons, allowing them to progress significantly farther than before. More information on patches 9.0.5 and 9.1 is likely coming during BlizzCon 2021.

 

An old and controversial game is finally releasing – Polygon

Six Days in Fallujah, a controversial shooter set in the Iraq War, is finally set to release. This tactical shooter follows stories shared by Veterans of the Iraq War who lived through the Second Battle of Fallujah, a massive hotspot for conflict in the Iraq War in 2004. The game will release sometime in 2021, on unspecified consoles and for PC.

 

Kingdom Hearts coming to PC – Polygon

Square Enix is partnering with Epic Games to bring the Kingdom hearts series to PC. Various bundles and standalone titles shall soon appear on the Epic Store. Some bundles include a good number of games, while other offers allow players to purchase a single title. This long-running series has created a fun cross-over world between Final Fantasy and Disney universes.
