Sony’s PlayStation Tournaments: XP will debut in London in January 2025 and feature live tournaments for select games, including Tekken 8 and Fortnite. Players from around the world will compete in open qualifiers for tournament spots.

Thomas Benski’s company, Lumina, has pledged to invest $2 million to support Creators Corp, a Fortnite user-generated content developer. With 15 titles already under their belt, Benski is impressed by the company’s understanding of the “inherent synergies between entertainment and gaming.”
Gran Turismo returns with a free-to-play option called My First Gran Turismo. The game features 18 cars, tutorials, races, and challenges, meant to be “approachable and immersive” and fun for all ages.

EA continues to add content to their free public library of accessibility tools, which is open to all developers to further “enhance accessibility and inclusivity for players.” The recent addition is composed of 23 new patents, including EA’s photosensitivity analysis tech, IRIS.
