Fortnite’s Frantic Food Fight is Its Best Mode Yet

On November 15, a new LTM team battle mode debut on Fortnite called food fight. Leveraging the game’s fiction and the dislike between fast food chains Durr Burger and Pizza Pit, food fight is best described as war, frantic war.  The mode puts equal emphasis on the two sides of Fortnite: building and shooting. You have no choice but to do both in order to win.  The size of mode is limited to 24 people.  It’s big enough that it really feels like a huge battle, but it’s also small enough that it still feels like you’re contributing, even if you’re not an amazing Fortnite player.

Valve Gives $20,000 to Guy who Found Exploit for Seemingly Limitless Free Steam Games

A security researcher discovered a bug within Steam’s infrastructure that could’ve allowed the user access to generate many keys for any game.  The research was able to generate 36,000 keys for Portal 2 by entering a random string of code into a request.  Fortunately, the researcher reported the bug to Valve.  Valve responded by paying the researcher $20,000.   In this case the fact that Valve has a bounty program where they will pay people who report security issues, paid off for both parties.
